Rotary, along with our partners, has reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979. We are close to eradicating polio, but we need your help. Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, here are some ways to make a global impact and protect children against polio forever.
Bull City Racefest October 16, 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM, Watts Street
This year we will be back at Aid Station Number One providing sports drink and water to runners while raising money for EndPolioNow. Remember that we will receive $30 per volunteer which will be donated to PolioPlus. We will be joined by Rotarians from other Durham Clubs as well as our Interact Club. We need 35 volunteers for this one! This is always a lot of fun and a great opportunity for fellowship. We will finish up by 8:15 AM, so you will still have plenty of time left in your day.
