Children’s Secret Garden Community Build

The Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill provides more than 3,000 families annually with seriously ill or injured children the comforts of home, so that they can focus on caring for a sick child. A recent expansion added 24 new rooms & suites, a fully-handicapped accessible courtyard with healing gardens and engaging play spaces, including a Children’s Secret Garden. The proposed service project is to finish the Children’s Secret Garden. This is a healing garden & engaging play space where Rotarians will spend the day on site engaged in a number of tasks – and will allow ample opportunity for everyone to become involved.
